FAMILY CONNECT

 

The Family Connect program aims to strengthen family relationships and assist families in  maintaining a healthy home environment.  Through guidance, family engagement and literacy support workshops, events, activities, counseling referrals and additional support resources, we strive to assist families in an overall improved quality of life.

Family Fun Day

The focus of this program track is for families to engage in fun activities and events together.  Activities and events  include but are not limited to: sporting events, movies, arcades, and other community activities/events. 

Activities and events in this track are FREE to program participants.

Wellness Workshop

The focus of this program track is to  promote wellness by educating participants on maintaining healthier lifestyles.  Participants will learn about cheap and healthy foods to eat, benefits of each, foods that trigger poor health and easy ways to balance a meal.  Participants will also learn about the importance of stress management, exercising and sleep.

This program track is FREE to program participants.

Strengthening Families Workshop

This program track focuses on strengthening relationships in families.  Workshops are designed to educate participants on the importance of love, talk and family time, laughter, effective communication, understanding feelings, being supportive and spiritual wellness, in maintaining strong family relationships.

Workshops in this program track are FREE to program participants.
